About Olson Iron

Las Vegas Ironworks.
Reinvented.

Olson Iron started as a Las Vegas ironworks company and has grown into a new generation of steel-framed stainless security screen products. Built in Las Vegas

Every Olson Iron project starts on a measure and a drawing, runs through our fabrication shop and powder-coat line, and finishes with our install crew on your property. We do not import, re-badge, or sub out. Every weld, every frame, every install is ours.

Licensed, bonded, insured

Olson Iron is a licensed Nevada contractor (NV #60513). We carry full general liability and a fleet insured for commercial work. Your project is protected from the first measure to the final install.

Warranty that means something

Frames and welds carry a lifetime craftsmanship warranty. Powder-coat finishes are formulated for desert UV. Operators and locks carry full manufacturer warranty. We stand behind what we build.

How Olson Iron Started

Bo Olson started Olson Iron in Las Vegas in 1999 doing what Las Vegas ironworkers did: gates, doors, fencing, railings, and custom steel fabrication. The work was real, the materials were heavy, and every job was built by hand in the shop. That foundation has never changed.

But over 25 years of working on Las Vegas homes, the problems customers brought to the shop started to shift. Homeowners wanted security without bars. They wanted to see out but not be seen in. They wanted airflow, privacy, and a product that looked like it belonged on a modern home — not a jail cell. The old perforated metal panels and basic aluminum screen systems were not answering those problems.

The Shift to Steel-Framed Stainless Mesh

Olson Iron brought the answer from the marine and industrial world: marine-grade woven stainless steel mesh. The same mesh used in high-demand industrial and marine applications, now fitted into welded steel frames built to the same standard as every Olson Iron gate and door. The result is a security product that is stronger than aluminum, cleaner than bars, and more honest than perforated sheet metal.

Today, Olson Iron builds security screen doors, window screens, patio enclosures, side gates, RV gates, courtyard gates, pool fencing, and commercial storefront protection using real steel frames and marine-grade woven stainless mesh. The old-school ironwork is still here. The new-school security mesh is now part of the same shop.

What We Build Today

Olson Iron builds security screen doors, security window screens, patio enclosures and sun rooms, iron gates (driveway, RV, courtyard, side-yard), iron fence and pool fencing, iron railings, and commercial storefront security screens. Every product is measured, fabricated, and installed by our crew in Las Vegas. We serve Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Centennial Hills, Green Valley, Horizon, Whitney, and Boulder City.

From the President

A Message From Bo Olson

“We started this shop because Las Vegas homeowners deserved better than what the big-box stores were selling. A security door should not flex when you push on it. A security screen should not pop out when someone leans on it. A gate should not sag after two summers in the desert heat.”

“We build real products that work, treat people honestly, and stand behind what we make. That has been the rule since 1999 and it is still the rule today. If something is not right, we come back and fix it. That is not a policy — it is just how a shop that cares about its work operates.”

“The stainless mesh technology changed what we could offer customers. We can now give someone a security door that looks clean, lets air through, and stops a forced entry — without bars, without a prison look, and without weak aluminum frames. That is a better product. Las Vegas homeowners deserve a better product.”

Showroom Network

Built for the Whole Las Vegas Valley

Olson Iron is building a better way for Las Vegas homeowners to shop for security products. Our Nellis showroom is open now, and we are preparing additional showroom locations in Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and East Las Vegas near the 95 and Charleston area.

The goal is simple: give customers across the valley a place to see real steel-framed security doors, stainless mesh screens, gates, enclosures, and product samples without pressure. Customers can look online, visit a showroom, scan product QR codes, compare Design IDs, and choose the security solution that fits their home.

The People You May Meet

When you work with Olson Iron, you may meet members of our team in the showroom, at your home, or during installation. These are the real people helping customers understand products, measure projects, install gates, clean up job sites, and make the process feel comfortable from start to finish.

We Work Hard. We Play Hard.

When the work week is done, the Olson Iron crew heads to the dunes. Sand rails, sand trucks, buggies, and a motorhome — we do it together the same way we build: as a team. The same people who install your gates are the same people you'll see flying over the dunes on a Saturday.

That is what Olson Iron is. It is not just a company. It is a family that builds things, takes care of people, and has a good time doing it.
